Gina’s love for nature is at the core of her work. Splitting her time between Dana Point, Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas, she is able to immerse herself in a diverse array of natural beauties. She often finds herself enamored for hours in the creation of still-life images, recently leading her to move away from portraiture and focus on macro imagery. Gina’s genuine spirit, kindness and passion radiate through the intimacy of her images.  Her work in this area has not gone unnoticed--in the ten years post her CPP accreditation, she has won numerous awards across the country and been featured in the Professional Photographers of America annual collections.  She is a Certified Professional Photographer and PPA Council Member. Most recently, she earned her Master Photographer degree and Craftsman Degree from PPA, where she was recognized for her superior technical skill, advanced education and service to the profession. Despite her notable success, she describes herself as a perpetual student--of photography and life.  Gina has not only found profound professional success in photography, but learned some of her most potent lessons while growing in the field. She is humbled by the struggle of transforming the image in her mind to that created by the camera, and is endlessly fascinated by the creative process. Wearing the hats of photographer, set designer, IT department and salesperson all at once has perhaps allowed Gina to learn her greatest lesson--that more than one thing can be true at the same time.
